Thanks to the fermentation process, all added sugar is converted by bacteria, making it a good choice for those looking to avoid sugar. With YIXIY™, you’re choosing a drink that fits any lifestyle.

YIXIY is available in three flavours: Ginger, Berry, and Rosehip. Each has its own unique taste, derived from organic herbs and other ingredients. The Ginger flavor has a spicy kick, Berry has a light, natural sweetness. And Rosehip has a subtle, zesty flavour. 

What’s in YIXIY™?

The key ingredients of YIXIY™ are organic molasses and a carefully curated mix of 19 powerful organic herbs, such as fennel, ginger, and chamomile. The molasses and these 19 herbs are transformed into a special product during fermentation. 

The fermentation process is supported by lactic acid bacteria. YIXIY™ also contains their postbiotics: substances produced by the bacteria during their lifetime. Postbiotics also include properties left behind after the bacteria have done their work, such as their cell walls. 
The lactic acid bacteria also convert the sugars in the molasses into organic acids, primarily lactic acid and acetic acid. This gives YIXIY™ its characteristic, slightly sour taste. 

What are organic acids?

Organic acids, like lactic acid and acetic acid, naturally occur in many living organisms. In YIXIY™, these acids not only contribute to the flavor but also help the drink stay fresh longer. Thanks to this natural preservation, the use of artificial preservatives is completely unnecessary—convenient, right? 

How is YIXIY™ produced?

Since YIXIY™ is made through fermentation, we do this in an oxygen-free environment to ensure the bacteria can do their job properly. This fermentation process is carefully monitored, with the pH value regularly checked. This ensures that every bottle of YIXIY™ delivers the same quality. 

After fermentation, all batches undergo microbiological testing and taste tests before they are bottled. This way, we guarantee that YIXIY™ meets the high-quality standards we maintain. Due to the natural process, the taste of YIXIY™ may vary slightly. 

The three flavors of YIXIY™ 

YIXIY™ comes in three unique variants, each with its own blend of organic ingredients: 

• YIXIY™ Ginger 
  This variant contains organic ginger juice and has a fresh, spicy flavor.
• YIXIY™ Berry 
  A slightly sweet taste from organic juices of aronia, blackcurrant, and blueberry, perfect for those who love these fruity flavors. This flavor is the most accessible for someone who is new to YIXIY™. 
• YIXIY™ Rosehip 
  This variant contains organic rosehip puree, which provides a distinct, fresh zesty taste. 

All variants contain natural vitamin C, derived from acerola berries. Vitamin C is an important ingredient in YIXIY™, as it offers various health benefits. 

How do you use YIXIY™? 

You can drink YIXIY™ in different ways. You can take it pure for an intense flavor experience. Or you can mix it with water, juice, or put it into a smoothie. You decide how you want to enjoy it.

YIXIY™ is produced in Denmark. Sustainability is central to the production of YIXIY™. We use only organic ingredients and follow ecologically responsible production methods. A key part of our sustainable approach is the use of wind energy. The energy we use comes from Danish wind turbines, helping to reduce CO2 emissions. 

Additionally, we support tree-planting projects, which help absorb CO2 and promote biodiversity. These initiatives are an integral part of our vision to contribute to a healthy environment for people, animals, and nature.
